Banks give Aussie shares a bounce to end a run of losses

The Australian share market recovered from recent losses as the banking sector rallied, with the S&P/ASX200 finishing up 0.02 percent. All of the big four retail banks saw gains between 0.3 and 3.8 percent, helping lift financials and avoiding a third consecutive day of declines.
