Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia’s Center for Fetal Diagnosis and Treatment held its 30th annual family reunion at the Philadelphia Zoo, welcoming over 2,500 guests including patients and families treated for serious birth defects. Since opening in 1995, the center has performed more than 2,500 fetal surgeries and served over 36,000 expectant mothers from across the United States and 70 countries, establishing itself as the world’s largest fetal surgery program.
