People and Technology: How I Found the Connection as a Software Engineer at Chick-fil-A

My first experience combining people and tech When I was fifteen, I started my first job at my local Chick-fil-A in Peachtree City, Georgia. To this day, I still remember serving my community: making frosted coffees for my neighbor, celebrating special occasions like school spirit nights, after hours with my teammates, and (when my now) husband would visit me during the summer. During those three years I worked in the restaurant, the first version of the mobile app was released.
