Creating a Robust Chrome Extension

Typically, I work on the back end of our search service, but I recently had an opportunity to take a fun diversion from the norm: making a Chrome extension to modify a third-party site to better suit our needs. At first it was daunting, being a back-end engineer with a front-end project, but several months down the road, it’s become a surprisingly reliable tool that I’m very proud of.
