BIA statement on reassumption of Red Lake family and children services Aguilar, Fermin E Fri, 09/11/2026 - 20:39 To ensure the safety and well-being of children and families, the Bureau of Indian Affairs has reassumed immediate operations of family and children services on the Red Lake Nation. Throughout this process, our highest priority has been the safety and protection of the tribal members, especially those most vulnerable. BIA staff are in place to immediately support the transition and ensure continuity of services.
