Native app crashes with "Maximum update depth exceeded" when fast-scrolling a long list

Hi everyone, I’m hoping someone has run into this or can point me in the right direction. I have a native mobile app with a vertical list that displays guests (500+ records). When I scroll fast up and down inside that list, the app throws a red error overlay and crashes with: Unhandled JS Exception: Error: Maximum update depth exceeded.
