Sessions Monitor

Hello everyone, I would like to know if someone is using monitors for sessions that stuck in a warning state, or running for several hours, in pending state and not started. I’m thinking to run a query directly to the production database to get the required details, store or update external table which can be used as a live monitor dashboard and calling this action or process in the actual business process or the logins. I dont think session functions are not exposed directly to internal VBOs or CLI commands.
