Textual Information Extraction from Car Advertisements using Named Entity Recognition

Foreword In this guest blog post, MMU Senior Research Associate Dr Filippos Ventirozos discusses extracting textual information from car advertisements on the Autotrader website. Autotrader has a long-standing academic collaboration with MMU, and over the years, we have funded and co-supervised numerous MSc projects. More recently, we expanded our research program to add the postdoctoral position that Filippos now holds.
