Due to a court ruling lifting an injunction on Texas law SB 2420, new Apple Accounts in Texas are now subject to age assurance requirements. Developers must implement the Declared Age Range API, Significant Change API, and handle parental consent for minors under 18 for app downloads and in-app purchases starting June 4, 2026.
