How I built a production-ready Property24 scraper as an Apify Actor

With no API or bulk export available, the author built an Apify Actor to scrape 46,000 Property24 listings across seven African countries using a three-phase pipeline of province URLs, city discovery, and batched extraction with asyncio semaphores. Cloudflare blocking was resolved with residential proxies, and a batching fix (500 URLs at a time) prevented memory crashes, covering South Africa (46,044 listings), Namibia (7,400), Kenya, and more at $0.001 per result.
