Anthropic opens Seoul office and announces new partnerships across the Korean AI ecosystem

Anthropic opened a Seoul office and signed an MOU with Korea’s Ministry of Science and ICT to advance AI safety. New deployments span NAVER, Nexon, LG CNS, Hanwha Solutions, Samsung SDS, and Channel Corp, plus a National AI Research Lab partnership across KAIST, Korea University, Yonsei, and POSTECH giving Claude access to 60 researchers, and a Claude for Startups program with a Build Day and Push to Prod hackathon co-hosted with Replit.
