Amazon OpenSearch Service introduces validation advisory for domain configuration changes

Amazon OpenSearch Service now provides validation advisory for domain configuration changes, which helps you make informed decisions about changes that carry risk but can still be applied. Each configuration validation is now classified as either Critical, which blocks the change, or Warning, which gives advisory guidance that you can acknowledge before you proceed. Previously, validation results were limited to pass or block.
