Starting today, Amazon RDS for MySQL 26.7 is available in the Amazon RDS Database Preview Environment , allowing you to evaluate the pre-release of MySQL 26.7 on Amazon RDS for MySQL. MySQL 26.7 is the first Innovation release to adopt the new YY.M (Year.Month) calendar versioning model. It includes bug fixes, security patches, and new features such as Change Stream Applier, a modular replication applier that improves apply throughput and backlog recovery in test workloads.
