The AgentCore harness GA launch enables rapid agent deployment through two API calls (CreateHarness and InvokeHarness), with agents running in isolated sandboxed environments with persistent filesystem and shell access and supporting multi-provider model switching mid-session while maintaining context. The harness integrates browser sandboxing, code interpretation, tool orchestration via MCP and AgentCore Gateway, skill libraries, web browsing, and automatic CloudWatch tracing without requiring custom container infrastructure.
