Amazon Cognito Unlocks Advanced Capabilities with Next-Generation Infrastructure

Amazon Cognito has introduced three major capabilities through next-generation infrastructure: high-throughput performance supporting tens of millions of users, customer-managed encryption keys via AWS KMS, and multi-Region replication for business continuity. The service successfully migrated hundreds of millions of user profiles without downtime using sophisticated validation techniques including shadow mode testing, dual-write architecture, and anti-entropy checks. This infrastructure modernization enables demanding workloads previously not supported by the service.
