Libreboot 26.10 adopts UEFI and adds Chromebook support

Libreboot 26.10 , codenamed Ominous Olive, introduces full UEFI support by making MrChromebox EDK2 the default boot payload on most supported 64-bit systems, replacing its previous reliance on GRUB and SeaBIOS. This expands compatibility to Windows 10 and 11 alongside Linux , FreeBSD , OpenBSD , and other UEFI-compatible systems. Modern Linux boot methods, including Unified Kernel Images and systemd-boot, are also supported without requiring GRUB as the primary bootloader.
