The geography of AI in finance: Why North American teams are pulling ahead

A Forrester survey of 1,279 finance leaders reveals that North American finance teams are more likely to be running AI across multi-step workflows, from automated reconciliation to real-time cash flow forecasting. Twenty-eight percent of EMEA teams report zero AI execution compared to 17% in North America, a gap driven by structural factors including data infrastructure, regulation, talent availability, and system maturity.
