Airbyte launched the Airbyte Agent CLI, a standalone terminal tool that enables developers to build, run, and manage AI-powered data agents without requiring an SDK or Python runtime. The CLI allows agents to discover available tools and interact with infrastructure directly from the command line, following Claude Code and Codex CLI’s move to bring AI systems into developer terminals.
